Lea Pelletier, Administrative Assistant

Lea has always had a passion of caring for people and animals.  She moved to Maine when she was eleven.  In middle school she job shadowed a veterinarian but a career in animal care was not to be.  Her father joined the local rescue unit.  Lea couldn’t wait to be by her dad’s side so at age 15 she too joined the ambulance team.  She graduated high school as a certified nurse’s assistant.  Her emergency medical training landed her a job at Maine Medical Center’s Emergency Department at 19 years old.  She attended Westbrook College majoring in the medical assistant program.  As her 2 boys grew up she worked as a phlebotomist.  Between a latex allergy and a hereditary tremor, she no longer does clinical patient care but still loves to care for people’s needs as a medical secretary.

In Lea’s free time she enjoys scroll saw woodworking, nature photography, hiking, biking, kayaking, crocheting, watching hockey games and most of all time with her husband, dog, two boys and two stepdaughters, their spouses and four beautiful and fun grandchildren.

What patients are saying about Dr. Morrell

“Dr. Rebecca Morrell has been aiding in my health and wellness since 2019 after being in a life threatening car accident. Thanks to her professional guidance, my life improved significantly. She is kind, compassionate, generous, thoughtful, easy to talk with, and I always felt safe and well taken care of, regardless of the many big and little problems I brought to our sessions.

Dr. Morrell is a wonderful listener, consequently, she was able and skilled at shining a light on a path back to health and wellness by integrating together what I required for recovery and a great sense of trust that I would, in fact, become alive again! I just can't say enough good and positive things about her!”

“I worked with Dr. Morrell after I sustained a very significant knee injury (total dislocation) that required 3 surgeries. Going into my third surgery Dr. Morrell put me on a pre and post-op protocol with the goal to improve range of motion faster, pain control and decrease swelling faster. The difference was remarkable; I was consistently way ahead of schedule and now 2 years later I am running marathons when I wasn’t sure I would again. Dr. Morrell was always kind and thoughtful in her approach; I highly recommend her care.”
